Summary/Abstract: In the article, information on local potters and Wzgórze Garncarskie (Töpferberg) [Potter Hill] found in two oldest city register books (the oldest "liber resignationum" – socalled Red Book, and the oldest "liber proscriptionum" – actually a book with varying contents) of the town of Zgorzelec were listed. Notes found in these books serve in the article as a material illustrating microhstorical issues – among other problems, material status and social relations of pre-burgesses, and the genealogy of potters from Zgorzelec.
