Summary/Abstract: This article outlines the teaching of Pope John Paul II (1920 – 2005) addressed to youngpeople. It is about a specific pastoral programme proposed to young people by the Bishopof Rome, which consists of: „laboratory of faith”, moral code (Decalogue, Eight Beatitudes,commandments of love), work on the voice of conscience, conversion. The fulfilment ofthese principles is always the person of Jesus Christ, to whom John Paul II points out to hisyoung listeners in homilies, speeches and especially during World Youth Days.
