Summary/Abstract: The curriculum in Bulgarian language and literature for XI grade component Literature (general education) is oriented to the thematic point of education. The section related to the universal theme of the relations between the native and the foreign offers different points of view through the works "The Iron Lantern", "Bai Ganyo" and "The Balkan Syndrome". Dialogic readings unlock intertextual connections with works from different fields of art.
