Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of linguistic means of conveying the bicultural identity of the author in his literary works. The novel of the modern Russian-speaking writer E. Safarli “Sweet Salt of the Bosphorus” was chosen as the material for the study, in which the author creates a variant of the image of Turkish culture. The image is considered as a fragment of the linguistic consciousness of the individual through the prism of his ethnicity. The procedure for describing the linguistic picture of the world of an author with a bicultural identity lies in the analysis of linguistic units that create an image of the other culture and correlate with the traditional model of a linguistic personality.
