Summary/Abstract: The children's novel "Heidi" by the Swiss author Johanna Spyri is one of the most famous works of children's literature worldwide. Accordingly, it has been published in Romania in numerous translations, especially after 2008. What is also special about these translations is the fact that most of them were not translated from German but from English. The present article sets out to analyse some relevant aspects of translation, based on the theoretical considerations of relevant theorists in the field of translation of children's literature.
