Summary/Abstract: This article discusses problems related to the lexical features in K. Fotynov's Commercial Letters (“Records”) (1845), which, unlike other original and translation works, have not been the subject of a detailed study. The study focuses on the lexical features of the letters against the background of the linguistic and extralinguistic situation in the Bulgarian society during the Revival.
