Summary/Abstract: The main object of this paper is to make brief considerations regarding violence against animals as a crime and, at the same time, as a criminological factor. In the following we will analyze the provisions on the chosen subject and we will highlight both the reasons why we need legislation in this regard and the effects of such crimes.
