Summary/Abstract: The following study considers the European jurisprudential developments in the matter of discrimination against parents, based on their sexual orientation. It, mainly, takes into account the reasoning of the European Court of Human Rights, in reaching these revolutionary judgments. The main conclusion is that sexual orientation cannot be a decisive argument for the national authorities when they examine the suitability of a person to adopt.
