Summary/Abstract: This issue of the journal Studia Ethnologica Pragensia is dedicated to the papers presented at the 9th edition of the international student conference Ethnology without Borders (EWB), held in Prague in November 2021. The conference was organized by the ANTRE, the student association of ethnologists and cultural anthropologists at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University with support of Institute of Ethnology, Faculty of Arts, Charles University. The main topic of this edition of the conference was Rethinking the global: Challenges in and beyond the field; let me use this space at the outset to briefly introduce the history and purpose of this international event.
