Summary/Abstract: The scientific article is devoted to the issue of the development and formation of the structure of the Kyiv City Council as a body of local selfgovernment. The scientific article examines the signs of formation of the structure of the relevant local self-government body. Also, the scientific article offers a detailed description of most of the structural subdivisions of the Kyiv City Council, which make up the structure of the Kyiv City Council. The problems of the structure of the Kyiv City Council were identified and investigated, and ways of solving them were proposed.
