Summary/Abstract: In the doctrine of the science of public administration, increasing attention is paid to the need to expand the scope of research and include problems that are of interest to other academic disciplines. This stems from the very broad scope of tasks and competencies of today’s public administration in a democratic Rechtsstaat. I argue that the need for coexistence and collaboration between different academic disciplines in the process of public administration requires a multidisciplinary approach and the establishment of a system enabling proper interdisciplinary integration. To achieve that, it is imperative to pay attention to the proper selection and training of administrative personnel as well as to the establishment of task-based teams to solve complex problems. Utilizing the findings of the science of public administration. This generates the need to establish tailored academic programs.
