Summary/Abstract: This article studies the dramatic masterpieces The Seagull by A.P. Chekhov and About the Fragility of Stuffed Seagulls by M. Vişniec, the latter denoting concurrently an absurd meditation and the advancement from Chekhov’s classic plays, popular during The October Revolution. The current analysis proves that not only is Vișniec’s work a simple extension of Chekhov’s plays, but also the paraphrase from within the new temporal coordinate system.
