Summary/Abstract: Conform estimărilor Bimco şi a Camerei maritime internaţionale (CMI), prezentată la 16 mai în OMI, lipsesc în prezent 16 500 ofiţeri (2,1% din populaţie). Din prezent până în 2025, va trebui să se formeze 147 500 ofiţeri suplimentari pentru a acoperi nevoile.
