SOME STROKES AND STATISTICS ON THE STATE OF THE BULGARIAN COMMUNITY IN FRANCE

Summary/Abstract: The contribution outlines the constitutive paths of the various types of immigrantcommunities, attempting to look in depth into the underlying historical and socio-economicfactors and drivers behind the process. The leading line of thought emphasizes the genesis ofthe main bodies and associations, structuring the life of the Bulgarian communities, analyzingboth their organizational and “emotionally” – driven philosophy. A special attention isreserved to the various initiatives and formations of the young members of the immigrantcommunity, the latter being the main protagonists of its extreme dynamism and creativity.
