Summary/Abstract: This study proposes a broader interpretive perspective of Shakespearean sonnets, with guidelines subsumed to the theme of love, and an exit from the area of biographical seduction, which captivates both readers and exegetes of the work. This enterprise could be a restrictive and risky solution, because in the absence of the documentary security of this hermeneutical path, it could reduce the erotic ideal within the sonnets to the aestheticization of personal affective experiences, diminishing the mystery and the metaphysical aspiration.
