Management of local government finances

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to present and assess the methods of public management in local government units. For this purpose, the author used the dogmatic-legal method and analyzed the literature. The sources supporting the budget and its expenses have been indicated. This article describes two basic methods which are the budget and the long-term financial forecast and presents the basic assumptions of these methods.
