The lexicographic modelling of the anatomical terminological system in An Anatomical Learner's Latin-Bulgarian Dictionary

Summary/Abstract: Creating a lexicographic product which presents anatomical terminosystem for the purposes of medical education in Bulgaria is a serious linguistic and methodological challenge in view of the growing interest in studying specialized terms in various scientific areas. The Anatomical Latin-Bulgarian Dictionary is intended for university students of medicine, dental medicine, pharmacy, biology and college students, lecturers and specialists who need a reference book in translating anatomical nomenclature. In this sense the dictionary serves as a multifunctional guidebook, which combines theoretical principles and practical exercises.
