Summary/Abstract: The paper attempts to present the magazine „Kultura Wsi. Ludzie. Wydarzenia. Przemiany” and its assignment to a specific type of press. The content of the journal was analyzed in terms of the functions assumed by the editors. The research also sought to capture the image of the modern Polish village, appearing from the texts in the magazine. Attempts were also made to answer the question about the reasons for the fall of the title.
