Summary/Abstract: The main objective of the article is to present the German model of dual education in higher economic studies and to answer the question whether dual studies develop students’ entrepreneurial attitudes. Based on the formulated aim, the hypothesis that dual studies develop students’ entrepreneurial attitudes was accepted. The research is based on the analysis of secondary data: information provided by the german Ministry of Science and Education, reports of the European Commission, scientific literature and content provided on the websites of companies and universities offering this model of education. The article focuses on selected examples of the implementation of academic vocational training. Based on the analysis of research results, it can be concluded that dual studies develop an entrepreneurial at‑titude among students of economic universities. The article is the result of research, which was carried out within the project DIALOG 0054/2019, entitled: “University of the future – Innovative model of dual education in economic studies supported by research infrastructure” funded by the Minister of Science and Higher Education.
