ANALYSIS OF THE PUBLIC PROCUREMENT SECTOR IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA AND HIGHLIGHTING THE KEY AREAS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CONCEPT OF SUSTAINABILITY

Summary/Abstract: The elaborated work approaches the issue of public procurement in terms of their role in solving social, environmental, economic problems. In this context, the author analyzes the current situation and the evolution in dynamics of the public procurement sector for the period 2008-2021. The applied methodological instrument includes: comparative analysis, dynamics indices, critical analysis of the specialized literature. The performed analysis allowed the author to formulate conclusions on strengthening the field of sustainable public procurement in the Republic of Moldova and to identify the contribution of public procurement to solving the problems of sustainable development.
