Summary/Abstract: The study summarizes the experience of a two-semester course in Film Subtitling at the Department of Japanese Studies at KRE. In the course, we made subtitles for documentaries recording the testimonies of the survivors of the Hiroshima nuclear bomb attack. The first part of the study presents the project itself and its theoretical background, while in the next two parts we can read the reports of the two students involved in the project.
