Summary/Abstract: The research and scientific illumination of genocide during the 1941-1945 War in Yugoslavia, and in particular in Bosnia and Herzegovina where it had been the most pronounced, represents an extremely delicate and complex problem, which has not been seen from all the sides and in its complexity by our historiography in the past fifty years. By having favoured the National Liberation Movement (NLM) the unique and complex approach to the study of other events and processes in the course of World War II on the Yugoslav soil was neglected and blocked.
