Summary/Abstract: Two and a half years after the establishment of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, in the manner of many other European countries who had done it earlier, on May 14,1922, the Bill was passed on the workers’ Social Insurance on the whole territory of the newly founded state. The law, which went into effect on July i of the same year, envisaged the following categories of insurance: medical, disability, retirement and the insurance against unemployment.
