Summary/Abstract: Mediation remains one of the important topics of ecumenical dialogue to this day. The mediation of Christ always remains the starting point for reflection on theological mediation. The present article shows how it functioned in the thought of one of the great Protestant theologians of the 20th century, Paul Tillich. First, his concept of the Logos will be presented as a medium. Then Tillich's concept of the Incarnation will be presented, which can be called the concept of the main mediated presence of God in the world, and then Tillich's assessment of Christological dogma. The following analyzes will allow us to take a fresh look at such an important ecumenical issue as theological mediation. Authentic mediation is ultimately a gift of God and not a product of man.
