A RADIOGRAPHY ON THE PRESENCE OF SECURITATE IN THE HISTORY MUSEUMS OF ROMANIA IN THE '80S OF THE PAST CENTURY

Summary/Abstract: The present study brings into discussion an untouched topic in Romanian research: the importance of the presence of the Securitate in museum institutions with a history profile and the objectives considered. Although incomplete, due to the absence of institutions in Bucharest and Ilfov and Giurgiu counties, our approach draws attention to the high numerical existence of information networks in Romanian’s museum institutions with history profile in the 80s of last century. Between 261 and 259 sources, collaborators and sources used with the approval of the party, give information in conspiracy houses to officers of the County Security Inspectorates, are the persons who guarantee the respect for historical truth, interpretation of archaeological data and organization of exhibitions, in the official ideological line.
