The Biggest Criminal Organisations in the World and their Impact on Transnational Crime

Summary/Abstract: Crime rates are increasing every single day and the biggest culprits for that are the numerous criminal organizations that operate throughout the world. The central part of this paper will be dedicated to the largest criminal organizations in the world and the way they operate. Understanding this matter would not be complete without reference to the notion of transnational crime. The intention of the author is to acquaint the domestic public with these organizations, given that the crime rate in Bosnia and Herzegovina is increasing, and that many criminals "imitate" these organizations when committing their crimes. Knowledge of this matter is extremely important in the context of crime prevention both in the world and in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
