Summary/Abstract: In the article discusses the most important issues contained in its title. It consists of six points. At the beginning, the concept of authority was discussed in detail, followed by its role and importance in teaching and upbringing. The third and fourth points show the concept and types of aggression and violence as well as manifestations of aggressive behavior. Each teacher, having a thorough knowledge of the subject of his specialization, must educate himself in this field, but also in related fields. The intellectual attitude of the teacher should be characterized by moderation, caution, prudence and restraint in passing judgments. The personality and professional competences of a teacher - educator are another issue presented in the article. The final part of the article is devoted to the relationship between the teacher and the student, which makes it easier to overcome educational difficulties.
