Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the interim language, respectively the learner language or interlanguage. The aim of this paper is to show the process of foreign language acquisition through some aspects of interim languages, such as fossilizations, natural sequences in L2 acquisition, systemicity, and some strategies such as simplification, overgeneralization, avoidance strategies, and interlinguistic transfer.
