Summary/Abstract: After the change of the 9th of September 1944, a process of building of a new political system in Bulgaria is laid out. The role of the leaders of the political parties increases strongly too. Very characteristic among them is the place of G. Dimitrov as a theoretician, statesman and politician. From August 1944 till August 1946, the basis of the parliamentary system is laid and the strategic lines of the ruling and the oppositional formations, and qualitative changes in the main organ of the executive power – the government – occurs, laws are passed, guaranteeing radical political and economic reforms. In the socio-political life of the country the activity of G. Dimitrov, indirectly or directly has considerable influence. Many times his views and their concrete realization are influenced by the views of Stalin – often spontaneous and absurd. The political prestige of G. Dimitrov and his relations with the leaders of the ruling and the oppositional parties have considerable influence in the life of the parliament and the activity of the government. Moscow was not indifferent to the political initiatives and the tactical alternatives of G. Dimitrov.
