Summary/Abstract: The paper contains the translation of passages from the book entited Aşk-ı A-lā (Sublime Love), which is written in Turkish language. The book mostly consists of sermons of Hazrat Shams Tabrizi taken from his work Makālāt and stories and traditions that are closely related to his personality. Following the introductory information about the book, the paper provides the translation of three stories that talk about the greatness of Hazrat Shams Tabrizi, but also of Hazrat Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi. Translations of several sermons by Shams on different topics are also provided.
