Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to illustrate the big impact of conceptual metaphors on the perception and subsequent conceptualization of pain of women suffering from endometriosis. This article is based on a selection of posts published on a Facebook group that concerns the symptoms of endometriosis disease. The results of the analysis may contribute to a wider understanding of endometriosis.
