Summary/Abstract: A long time before the fall of the Roman Empire there were various signs of its decline. Some sober spectators of the Empire's circumstances pointed them out. Some of the predicted the inevitability of the destruction of such Rome, and therefore the entire world. When the Empire finally fell, it had serious consequences, for everything was brought backward to a rather lower level of Barbarian conquerors for a longer period of time.
