Summary/Abstract: The rebuilding of destroyed, burned and destroyed rural and urban settlements was a priority goal of post-war reconstruction and construction in the entire country. Conceived as a mass, people's task, the reconstruction initiated and organizationally united a multitude of diverse factors aimed at a single goal - to erase the consequences of war destruction as soon as possible and to create conditions for normal life and work for the war-affected masses. Behind the large and complex non-building effort, in addition to the impressive number of erected buildings, there was also a written trace - archival materials and newspaper reports - indispensable in future studies of this period.
