Summary/Abstract: We continue to study the differents on the Bosporan coins of the Roman period. We are interested in the designations on the last series of small bronzes. These coins were issued under Rhescuporis IV. Moreover, they were minted not only in the capital, but also in the tribal districts of the North-Eastern Black Sea region with centers in the North Caucasus. We judge by the fact that tamgas are imprinted on these coins. We believe that the Bosporan sovereign ordered to place symbols sacred for the barbarians on them in order to popularize his regime. This circumstance should explain the fact of the long-term issue of his small coins, which continued even when they started minting staters of bronze.
