Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to indicate the similarities and differences in the structure of expenditure of Polish households by biological type. The analysis was carried out on the basis of publicly available aggregated data. The data come from the Household Budget Survey conducted by the Statistic Poland. Using the measure of the distance of structures, it was found that changes in the structure of expenditure in 2019-2020 were higher than in 2018-2019. Moreover, it was shown that the direction of changes in expenditure structures was unstable in 2018-2020.
