Summary/Abstract: One of the important features of arbitration is its speed. A question should be asked as to whether there is a legitimate need for separate regulation of small claims in commercial arbitration proceedings in Polish law, in particular, due to its more informal character and greater discretion of arbitrators, and if so, one ought to ask about the location of the regulation of this institution. Small claims have fundamental importance for commercial arbitration proceedings because they guarantee the implementation of speed in arbitration.
