Summary/Abstract: The work presents the life, apostolic and hagiographic activity of Father Franciszek Świątek, a Redemptorist, in the period 1889–1936. The study presents the individual stages of Świątek’s biography: childhood, youth, formation time in the seminary, first years of priesthood, work in the formation of future Redemptorists, missionary and retreat work, as well as the apostolate of the pen. The monograph was based primarily on the archives of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, collected in the Archives of the Warsaw Redemptorist Province in Tuchów
