Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the regional tourist book market on the example of Grudziądz and the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region. Based on the analysis of literature and source data as well as interviews with employees of cultural institutions, the categories of tourism books, distribution channels and methods of its promotion were described, especially the forms of operation of bookstores, libraries, PTTK and tourist information points, as well as promotion via the Internet. Attention was paid to the forms of supporting the readership of regional books by organizing various types of festivals, book fairs, Book Discussion Clubs, literary meetings, etc. Finally, the specificity of the tourist book was characterized in the context of the forms of its promotion.
