Summary/Abstract: Drawing on archival materials and selected publications, the author presents a profile of Fr. Stanislaw Nagy and reports little known facts related to his academic and pastoral activities. In particular, the author describes Cardinal Nagy’s commitment to the Catholic Church, to promoting the teachings of John Paul II, and to the Congregation of the Priests of the Sacred Heart. The article focuses on the last stage of Stanislaw Nagy’s life, i.e., the years after he was created cardinal.
