SERMON ON THE FEAST OF ANNUNCIATION

Summary/Abstract: The Feast of the Annunciation teaches and guides us, all of us, to give, in our turn, the due honor to the Mother of God, because first God the Father, God the Son, Who incarnated in her womb the virgin and God Holy Spirit. All the angels also honored her, the Old Testament prophets, Moses and David, Isaiah and Ezekiel, through their prophecies, St. Elizabeth and John, the infant who „leaped into her womb,“ the Holy Fathers. , participants in the Ecumenical Councils, inspired authors of the dogmas about the Mother of God and the Eternal Virgin Mary and our Church has honored her for two millennia.
