Summary/Abstract: The scientific development explores profit as an important indicator of the financial health of the enterprise. For this purpose, its essence and peculiarities are determined. Its types are distinguished according to the objectives of the corporate financial analysis. On this basis, conclusions are drawn about the relationship between the positive financial result and the financial position of the company.
