Summary/Abstract: Bullying and cyberbullying remains a difficult problem worldwide, including Hungary. Despite financial obstacles and a lack of human capacity, researchers and practitioners work constantly to raise awareness on the problem and to introduce effective, evidence-based programs to Hungarian schools in order to build healthy school communities where bullying and cyberbullying is not part of student’s everyday life. However, a long road is ahead of devoted professionals to reach their goal, and – as UNESCO recommendation says – a whole-education approach is essential to make the road a smoother one.
