Summary/Abstract: This article presents a new form of open learning, namely "learning in stations". It is borrowed from the field of sports, but can be adapted to different subjects in school. "Learning in stations" has a specific work organization. An important feature is the creation of stations, each of which performs a specific task. Students work in groups, each passing through all stations sequentially. After the work is completed, the results of the groups are discussed. „Learning in stations“ is a form that allows for a smooth transition from traditional to open learning and can be more widely used in the study of the natural environment in primary school. This material also offers ideas for conducting a lesson on man and nature for 4th grade through this innovative form of learning.
