Summary/Abstract: This paper was based on the results of a questionnaire survey conducted among Physical Education and Sport teachers working with students at the lower secondary education level and more precisely, in 6th grade. The survey aims to investigate the teachers’ opinion on teaching and grading using the new system for pupil’s physical capacity assessment,as well as the students’ preferences for particular mandatory and optional activities from the Physical Education and Sport curriculum.
