Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of a study of the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of a group of students (Bulgarian and Turkish ethnicity) from the University of Shumen "Ep. K. Preslavski". The study shows significant dependencies in the degree of expression of the characteristics of motivation in both ethnic groups.
