Professionalism - an element of akmeology

Summary/Abstract: The science of akmeology seeks to set personal and professional standards and standards for achieving high level development, as well as determining the attitude of the individual to the professional and professionalism in a profession. It focuses on models for the development of professionalism and professional activities aimed at achieving different levels.Thus, on the basis of the theoretical justification for the development of the personality in the professional activity, akmeology creates its own category, called "akmeological models". The creation of acmeological models allows to describe a complete and structure-defining environment or in other words standards of professionalism, which is an important orientation for the personal-professional development of the personality, aiming to optimize this process. One of the main tasks of akmeology is to create appropriate acmeological technologies for the progressive development of the individual and especially for his professionalism.
