Post-Liberation Documents on Participants in the April Uprising

Summary/Abstract: The study focuses on documents written after Bulgarians Liberation by contemporaries and participants in the April Uprising of 1876. The reported and analyzed data from the documents expand the circle of names of participants in the April Uprising and enrich the information about the activity of some person and of the Vratsa Revolutionary Committee during the preparations for the Uprising, the number of the victims from Bratsigovo and the neighbouring settlements, the combatants from the Gabrovo area, the fate of the apostles of liberty Volov and Ikonomov and monument built in their honour in the town of Byala.
