DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION TRENDS IN WINE PRODUCTION IN BULGARIAN SOUTHEAST REGION

Summary/Abstract: This article focuses on the main trends of digital transformation in wine production in the Southeastern region of Bulgaria. Its main goal is to determine the level of implementation of innovative products and services, methods and processes and the degree of digitalization in enterprises. For this purpose, data submitted to the NSI by the eighteen largest wine producers in the Southeast region for the period 2016 - 2018 are considered. The information examines the implementation of product innovations and innovation activities, the use of new and improved processes in enterprises and R&D costs incurred as a criterion for expanding the activities of enterprises and increasing their competitiveness.
