Summary/Abstract: The aim of the contribution is to present current changes of Czech legislation, establishing wider possibilities for administrative punishment under the Act on the Protection of Animals against Cruelty. Furthermore, teh new powers conferred on municipalities in this section and theirs cooperation with state veterinary authorities will be clarified.
