Summary/Abstract: The duplex dominium belongs to the traditions of European jurisprudence and refers to the synthesis of Roman and Feudal law. As the traditional Hungarian law differed in the scope of feudal institutes incorporation as well as in the level of Romanisation, subject of this paper is mostly an analysis of Hungarian jurisprudence.
